< Tecknology before the new was introduced > Television now a days is the main source of information that people can get but when people did not have tv they had to find different ways of communication with the outside world. Tecknology was very limited back then with them having no televisions or electrical goods to depend on for their information like computers or television. They only had the radio to get their information from. Many exsperimental telecasts took place in the 1920's and 30's. In 1936 150 homes were installed with television receivers in new york. Scientists were the main contributer to the development of the tv. Tv first became possible in the 1800's when people learnt how to send communication through the air as electomagnetic waves. Radio operators were the first people to send codes through the air. By the 1900's operators could transmit words. By the year 1884 a man called Paul gotllieb had invented a scanning device that sent pictures over short distances. The Iconoscope was the first tv camera tube suitable for the broadcasting. Z worykin demonstrated the first completly electronic pratical tv system in 1929. < Developmant and need for new tecknology > Improvments in tv tecknology during the 1980's resulted in better and sharper pictures. The quality of the picture depends on the number of scanning lines that are used to create the image and detail in each scanning line. The development and the need for new tecknology needed to be getting better because of people wanting more and different things to watch. < Impact of the new > When tv was introduced there was a enourmes change for people who brought the tv when it was first introduced people at night when there was no tv they would just sit around and maybe talk but when the tv was introduced to about the 150 people that got the tv when it first came out the wealthy people that was followed by the people who had seen the tv at different places and decided to buy the tv and watch that instead of just sitting around or talking. The tv broadcasting began shortly after the war. At first tv only reached the eastern seaboard. By 1951 it exstended from coast to coastand tv stations sprang up througout the country. News , sport and special events replaced the simple largly exsperimental shows. Americans became so fasinated in having such a wide range of visial events available in thier homes. In 1945 there was about 10,000 sets in the country in the peoples homes. So the television has come a long way since just the radio to reley on tofind out what is happening around the world. < How it changed the media > Television continues to be the most primilary the best of entertainment . Tv also has caried the roll of providing coverage of important events . During the 1970's broadcaasters began to present an increasing number of made for tv movies serialized dramas which are called miniseries.
